He's a professional. We had just been relegated. It was totally disrespectful and after that I have no respect for him.

Sadly finishing in the top 4 matters more than winning trophies for many owners these days, fans likely think differently in this regard.

There should be no VAR in the FA cup as most of the teams do not have it.

Agree. Who cares about marginal offside. Some go for you some go against, as illustrated in this match. It was just a great cup tie.

How was Salah not offside? The defender had to go for it, he wasn’t to know he was off. I don’t know who dreams these laws up but they know nothing about football.

To be fair it is a level playing field. The teams in each match are playing to the same rules. I don’t see the issue.
Having said that I’d prefer not to have var in all games.

Not really. The rule, for example, allows an attacker to latch onto a back pass without being offside. This is as distinct from a deflected shot where the contact is unintentional and would be deemed offside.

In this case the defender is jumping to clear the ball, to stop the (offside) player from getting it, he should not be penalised for stopping a ball getting to an offside player, simple.
