2022/23: Millwall v Burnley – Ticket Information
Re: 2022/23: Millwall v Burnley – Ticket Information
Was daft to put us in the lower tier. Will Millwall want to open the upper tier for potentially a very small number of extra fans?
Re: 2022/23: Millwall v Burnley – Ticket Information
About 1000 sold in the Lower tier, with about 95 left.

I was hanging on for tickets in the upper tier, do you think there is a risk they wont open it now?

Re: 2022/23: Millwall v Burnley – Ticket Information
Is it not a requirement that away fans must in some part be pitch-side to help with the atmosphere (how Newcastle get away with it baffles everyone) I think that is in the rules of both EFL and PL
Re: 2022/23: Millwall v Burnley – Ticket Information
Why you waiting until this Friday?

Re: 2022/23: Millwall v Burnley – Ticket Information
I bit the bullet and got lower tickets, I can't see them opening the upper tier for potentially a handful of people.
Re: 2022/23: Millwall v Burnley – Ticket Information
With another 2 weeks to go I'd be surprised if they wouldn't open the upper tier. Especially when they've stated we had the full end.
Re: 2022/23: Millwall v Burnley – Ticket Information
I thought that was just a Premier league rule? Up untilthis season Millwall haven't opened that lower tier for years.Chester Perry wrote: ↑Mon Feb 06, 2023 1:19 pmIs it not a requirement that away fans must in some part be pitch-side to help with the atmosphere (how Newcastle get away with it baffles everyone) I think that is in the rules of both EFL and PL

I hope they do open the upper tier. We're deliberately waiting until they do!claret wizard wrote: ↑Mon Feb 06, 2023 1:31 pmI bit the bullet and got lower tickets, I can't see them opening the upper tier for potentially a handful of people.

That might be a risky strategy.TonbridgeClaret wrote: ↑Mon Feb 06, 2023 4:05 pmI hope they do open the upper tier. We're deliberately waiting until they do!

Only about 55 seats or so left. Mainly in block 54.

Re: 2022/23: Millwall v Burnley – Ticket Information
Noticed that they had a sellout vs Sunderland at the weekend. Should be a decent crowd for this
Re: 2022/23: Millwall v Burnley – Ticket Information
I know our ticket office can be a bit dodgy at the moment but they are stating that we have a 3,000 allocation and as there are still 2 weeks to go before the game surely they wouldn't stop selling tickets with two thirds of the allocation left.
Could they??

Re: 2022/23: Millwall v Burnley – Ticket Information
Millwall could potentially say they don't want the costs of opening the upper tier to only have maybe 100 fans up there.Targetman wrote: ↑Mon Feb 06, 2023 5:22 pmI know our ticket office can be a bit dodgy at the moment but they are stating that we have a 3,000 allocation and as there are still 2 weeks to go before the game surely they wouldn't stop selling tickets with two thirds of the allocation left.

There's every possibility of that. I wouldn't want to be taking the risk of waiting for the upper tier to come available and even if it does, wouldn't want to be sat with only a few fans up there.

Only 32 left in the lower tier for Millwall away now, and still over two weeks to go! Wonderful support for a night match in London!
Re: 2022/23: Millwall v Burnley – Ticket Information
Looks like we've just about sold out now and no sign of the upper tier going on sale.

Gutted. I lost my nerve waiting for the upper tier at the last moment and purchased a couple of tickets in block 54, lower tier.

Maybe contact the club and see if you can swap? They’ve always been very accommodating for me.TonbridgeClaret wrote: ↑Tue Feb 07, 2023 6:05 pmGutted. I lost my nerve waiting for the upper tier at the last moment and purchased a couple of tickets in block 54, lower tier.

Not a cat in hells chance of that! We've only sold 1/2 of the allocation.

Anything north of 2,000 would be unreal for midweek down there.

Family said biggest following down there was Sunderland and it was a cracking atmosphere. UTCClaretforever wrote: ↑Fri Feb 10, 2023 9:05 amAnything north of 2,000 would be unreal for midweek down there.
Re: 2022/23: Millwall v Burnley – Ticket Information
Just asking a question, my son is in London and was thinking of going but he's not sure about it being Millwall as they've had a bad reputation, appreciate opinions/info regarding this, is it still a place where trouble would be expected for a game?

Will be fine imo, if you’re a group of lads and going on the train or wandering around the ground, trouble could find you but I’d say he will be absolutely fine

Personally I just avoid standing out as a Burnley fan and have never had, nor seen, any trouble.
There's even a dedicated walkway to the train station these days.
He'll be perfectly fine, the reputation is many times greater than reality

Looking forward to this one.
Tough game, they will have a decent crowd on and are having a good season, under the lights too.
Will need a big effort from our support for sure.

Anybody any idea when these go off sale? Can't see anything on the official site.
Re: 2022/23: Millwall v Burnley – Ticket Information
Just 47 left in block 23 upper.
Re: 2022/23: Millwall v Burnley – Ticket Information
Far from a sell out, with ‘good’ availability showing in all 3 home stands.
Looking at pictures of when Sunderland went down to the Den, I think both end blocks of the upper tier in the away end are left for segregation, which leaves just the central 4 blocks for sale.
Selling out the lower tier, and then perhaps 2/4 upper tier blocks would be a superb effort.

Re: 2022/23: Millwall v Burnley – Ticket Information
Ticket prices on the Club ticketing site for adults and seniors are now showing as £27 and £18, which is £1 more than the originally shown price. Anyone know why this is and when it changed?

Probably to make up the money lost when they were knocking £5 off all the cup tie tickets.

Reading reports that they sometimes hold back away fans for 30 mins after the game. That could make it difficult for anyone heading back North.

I noticed that the price increased once the lower tier sold out, and upper tier tickets were put on sale

Counting 64 tickets left in Block 23.
