Preston 0-3 Norwich after 28 minutes.
Re: Burnley v Coventry Match Thread
Weather looks horrendous. Probably sums up the game.
Re: Burnley v Coventry Match Thread
Unfortunately we miss THB’s passing from the back massively. It’s meant we’ve had to shift Roberts back into a back 3, while Taylor is a bit ponderous on the ball.

Budgies three up at Deepdale and goal machine Jeff Hendrick notches for Reading.

We are playing into a gale but far too many of our lads are of their normal standard.

At least we have learnt to clear it now instead of mess about with it.

Outplayed so far. Gyorkeres is excellent. Not sure what Jay Rod is contributing. THB is a huge miss

JayRod has had a serious drop of form. Not sure what's going on but doesn't look like he did before December

Jayrod so poor, slow and whiney
Re: Burnley v Coventry Match Thread
CT really struggling with his passing
Re: Burnley v Coventry Match Thread
I’d like to see Gudmundsson early in the second half. It’s going to need a bit of culture to unlock this lot.

Final ball is awful today.

Muric good save
Re: Burnley v Coventry Match Thread
Yeah that’ll be a help. You wouldn’t catch me turning out for 5 a side in this.

Is Brownhill playing?
Re: Burnley v Coventry Match Thread
Gyokeres is a good player……won’t be there for long
Re: Burnley v Coventry Match Thread
I wouldn't like to be in there at half time.
Re: Burnley v Coventry Match Thread
We could us Jeff today > Cullen
Re: Burnley v Coventry Match Thread
Gyokeres is excellent, we can’t deal with him

Brownhill and Jay would be the first people off for me. Also, Gyokeres is some player

Hopefully Cov have missed their chance with that first half

Re: Burnley v Coventry Match Thread
Yes we've been up against it, however key stat is it's still 0-0, and surely we can't play as poorly 2nd half.

Re: Burnley v Coventry Match Thread
Fortunate not to be behind. Let’s see what VK can do. We look a different team without THB both in defense and going forward. We need to up the pace significantly if we want to win this one
Re: Burnley v Coventry Match Thread
I’d probably say that was our worst 45, performance wise, of the season, Sunderland away first 45 maybe. I’m confident we’ll be a different side in the 2nd half.
