116 points
Re: 116 points
This is what it's like to be a City fan. You end up getting a bit greedy and winning the title feels a consolation prize.

Re: 116 points
Don’t think it will be tight to be honest, I think this record is out of reach now and one to forget.
But personally not bothered at all and more focussed on how we develop as a team in the next few months.

26 more points to be added on my predictions, giving us a total of 103.
I predicted a draw today.....

4 points thrown away at Millwall and Blackpool
Re: 116 points
Is it back on? We've just got maximum points from the two toughest games of the run in.

Re: 116 points
We can hit 108 if we win all of our remaining fixtures.Would easily back this side to do that as well.

Re: 116 points
90 points in the bag, a decent run in now. Doubt we will beat the record as that means winning every game, which is doable but unlikely. Could easily equal it.
4 points sees us set a new club record for points in a season (and gets us a piece of silverware) and I would be very shocked if we fail to get past 100 points.

JBG mentioned it in his post match presser, and eluded for something they want.

Great line about Leicester city in that article:Spijed wrote: ↑Sat Mar 04, 2023 5:40 pmHere is a good list of totals to aim for:

“ Inspired by their 2002/03 campaign, when the club won promotion despite going into administration (unpunished in those days), Leicester won promotion in 2013/14 despite – or due to – the Foxes breaking Financial Fair Play spending limits, losing £21m in a single season and paying a settlement of £3.1m just four years later. Fairytale stuff. “
Spot on.

The worry about our run in is we play 22nd, 18th, 20th, 6th, and 21st.Robbie_painter wrote: ↑Tue Apr 11, 2023 12:57 amWe can hit 108 if we win all of our remaining fixtures.Would easily back this side to do that as well.
On paper sounds great, but all those teams are desperate for points and will really turn up against us, if anything just to mitigate the goal difference damage.
Rotherham gave us a game (I think they'd have beaten us actually if they'd have stuck to playing footy instead of time wasting), Reading was difficult, Cardiff we drew with, and we're Blackburn's cup final. There's only really QPR (and Blackburn who we battered), who will now both turn up in the games against us for different reasons.
