Re: Team v Millwall
Could see us maybe even going 442 for this game with barnes and Obafemi for the old fashioned big man little man. Millwall will make it even harder for us to play than Luton did.
On churlinov, all I’ve seen suggests he’s god awful. However, I didn’t particularly like Zaroury after his first bench appearances.
Think it’s clear from his substitutions that VK likes the look of Foster and I think he looks to have the attributes to be a real threat. Would like to see him soon.

Assuming the worst with Tella out and all other absentees still injured:
Muric
Roberts
Ekdal
Taylor
Maatsen
Cork
Cullen
JBG or Vitinho- Johann's playing fantastic but I don't trust Millwall not to crock him, Vitinho is surprisingly physical and produced magic with that flick for the penalty, but his shooting was disappointing so depends if Johann can be kept safe really
Brownhill
Obafemi- fast, looks to have more muscle on him than Zaroury
Barnes
Aim to bring Zaroury and 1 other winger on around 60-70 mins playing the Benson role against their tired defenders, look to bring Foster on 70-80mins depending on how Barnes does. Twine if we're winning the physical battles but struggling on creativity or set pieces, to give us that extra option.

There's something to be said for this, as long as we don't resort to hoofball.Iloveyoubrady wrote: ↑Mon Feb 20, 2023 4:46 pmCould see us maybe even going 442 for this game with barnes and Obafemi for the old fashioned big man little man. Or we could go with 4-2-3-1
Muric,
Roberts, Ekdal, Taylor, Maatsen
Cullen, Cork,
Browhill, Barnes, Gudmundsson
Obafemi

Not necessarily that formation but I think we are quite fluid in that regards anyway.

That’s my thinking also. We are going to have to be strong and physical tomorrow night away at that ‘orrible lot!boatshed bill wrote: ↑Mon Feb 20, 2023 5:04 pmI'd be a bit cautious with Zaroury... 60th minute sub for JBG?
Re: Team v Millwall
What’s there to be cautious about? Only played 40 minutes the other day.boatshed bill wrote: ↑Mon Feb 20, 2023 5:04 pmI'd be a bit cautious with Zaroury... 60th minute sub for JBG?

Don't suppose anyone knows if the game will be available to stream tomorrow night either on iFollow or Clarets+ abroad? Not seen it listed.

Re: Team v Millwall
I'd bring in Twine and Obefami for this match. Twine for Tella if not fit and tbh even if he is, maybe a rest for him. Barnes hasn't done much wrong but it's a lot of games for him in a short period. Obefami still has that strength, will be hungry after his goal and has fresh legs. Otherwise as you were
