Whatever happens, we are promoted, and will be 27 points, 24 points or 30 points ahead of them

Worst result ever?

I don't think its even close, and the gap is so huge that there won't be any argument about who is the best team in Lancashire whatever the result

We couldn’t have dreamt of a derby being so free of pressure tbh. Always want to beat them but this is dreamland stuff.

Could be one of the greatest nights in any Clarets fans life. But it could be one if the worst if us losing gets Rovers into the play offs and maybe into the PL !!!
Even if we did lose tomorrow, it won’t be anywhere near as bad as that 5-0 hammering under Stan.

I’ll never forget the taunts of all residents of Bolton Road in their back gardens as the coaches trudged back to the motorway.

I had to go to school in Billington the day after! Even the teachers were taking the ****. Thank Christ all the rough lads came from padiham and we’re Burnley fans

If I've managed to follow this thread correctly then it sounds like Grumps is off on a stag do and has given his ticket to Vizeh who in the words of Grumps "will have memories for far longer than I would"

Apart from Grumps going on a stag do everything seems pretty normal to me

An issue that I'm not happy about is that a young lad (18) who has travelled with us to every away game this season (including friendlies) and who has 6000 points but was unsuccessful in the ballot, has ended paying some scroat £120 pounds for a concession ticket (and the guy was even asking for £150!). Not sure how someone could do that to a fellow Claret!
Yep. Sticks right in my craw does that. My mate couldn’t get a ticket for Aberdeen but I did, but we could buy a pair in hospitality. We bought the pair and I sold my normal ticket on the day to a lad who travelled up without one for face value. Exactly what I paid for it. To do anything else would be weapons grade shithousery.

My worry is that if, and it's a big if, they get promoted via the play-offs the Venkys do have more money to spend on players than we do.

Much more likely to use it as a chance to sell up I'd have thought and cut their losses

One thing they certainly ain't going to do is start talking about bringing Mbappe to East Lancs

TBF Viz, due to his far reaching entertaining vlogs, is probably our most recognisable fan after Rocky (RIP), a alot of Blackburn fans will know of him and know his face - he's right, he probably would die in the home end.

I bought 6 together in the home end so as I can stretch out and have a little nap between goals, nobody knows me except for my dog Rocky (not RIP) so it's cool, don't worry.

This thread and the chairman’s ticket thread are loony.

People can give tickets to whoever they like, it’s THEIR ticket to do with as they see fit.
Tell that to the Blackburn fan who now has a 3 year ban for giving his tickets to a Burnley fan 🤔

You would expect that they would do so

They would have to spend a fortune to get Ewood and their administration up to Premier League standard - Leeds spent about £9m when they were promoted and had been doing work in preparation - We spent around £3m at the 2014 promotion and have spent as much again since keeping up with new requirements, each TV cycle - Ewood (and it's pitch) has been given the minimum upkeep in the last 6 years or so, I think they would struggle to be ready in time,

Reckon Luton would have to spend the most!

Locals think the Premier League may try to make them play at Stadium:MK instead. Their ground just won’t be up to scratch

Agreed, looks like a poor PR attempt to stop rovers fans buying for Burnley fans. Doubt any rules have been broken until someone trys to get in the ground with the ticket, plus, how has anyone been identified at this stage?

Funnily enough that’s what pretty much everyone I’ve spoken to about it has said, and I’d probably agree that it’s all a ploy

I went out in Darwen and took the stick. Of all people to stick up for me, Mark Patterson. He had a go at the Rovers fans and they were nearly crying. He told them I knew more about football than they ever would  .

Luton's ground isn't really fit for Championship level football, never mind Premier League.
