We lost a year's worth of Prem TV money because Everton cheated. Just because VK has worked miracles with what was left after relegation is irrelevant.
Exactly.

Dyche walked into an environment in more disarray than the environment he left here so I don’t see any advantageous basis, what potentially could have happened at 1 club & what did potentially happen at 1 club (if Everton stop up) will be looked at side by side without bias on dyches managerial merits & capabilities.

Everton have as much chance of getting punished for their rule breaking as Ivan Toney

What ?
You can’t see that this is about the money that Everton have spent which was against the rules ?
And you can’t see that the clubs are arguing that this money they have spent has given them an unfair advantage over their own teams ?

This is nothing to do with respective managers, it’s about them breaking the rules.

We will see in time if a claim is raised if the legal team think sufficient grounds are enough for a prospect of success. It's not what I think it's whether it's worthwhile & I can see Everton vigorously challenging any claims on the points that I've mentioned.

OK so I was wrong about Toney but I fear Everton are going to dodge a bullet, again. But I am happy to be proved wrong .However if its Everton or Dirty Leeds for the drop its got to be Leeds everytime for me

You can see Everton vigorously challenging a claim about something that happened before Dyche joined them by using a defence that Dyche kept them up so he would have kept them up ?

Ok….

& contesting whether the rule breaches directly had an impact upon our relegation or did something else contribute towards our relegation, the onus is on us to prove that & for them to defend that assertion & sacking the same manager who incidentally has just helped them escape relegation (if that happens) might just be a slight obstacle as 1 hell of a understatement.

So you are saying that if we would have kept Dyche Everton would not have had any advantage despite they spent hundreds of millions of pounds more than they were allowed to on their team ?
Even in your made up world that they used this as a defence what defence do they use for the other relegated clubs ?
If Norwich wanted to sue Everton do Everton use a defence that Norwich brought it on themselves by buying Ben Gibson ?

But we didn’t that’s what’s shrouded in uncertainty, it’s not about what Everton have done it’s more about what we haven’t done, we have to make the claim stand up to scrutiny because it will be defended, I keep saying we will see because I strongly suspect it’s got no legs thus futile discussing. We will see.

It's very relevant it demonstrates his ability & the potential that our outcome could have been far different, it's something everton will use against us arguing that the decision to part company with dyche was instrumental in our relegation & not them breaking the rules.
If that's Everton's defence in court it will - unbelievably - be an even weaker defence than the one they've been putting on the pitch recently.

Not as weak as your reasoning mind...

I think you'll find this whole thing is exactly about what Everton have done and absolutely nothing else.

Now please, just accept you've been nuts again and go and reflect on it somewhere.

It gives you the perfect opportunity to screenshot or bookmark me saying - we will not pursue Everton successfully for loss of damages due to our relegation, let’s see if my weak reasoning mind bites me on the arse, good day sir.

If we assume that Everton have been able to afford lawyers that aren’t just some bloke on a message board you can be pretty sure that they won’t be recommending the club put forward your arguments.

It won't get to court simply because the PL and FA won't enjoy the optics of two or several clubs fighting it out in a civil court.. the Sheffield Utd v West Ham Carlos Tevez affair didn't go to court and was dealt with by the FA and resolved.. the bigger question for me is how the PL signed off Everton's finances as being sound when they clearly were not

West Ham had to pay £20m to Sheffield Utd, and that was over 10 years ago. To me it's a similar offense, ie having players you shouldn't have to gain an advantage. Therefore would expect compensation to be along similar lines, plus TV revenue inflation amount.

Confused how any team that doesn't finish 18th can complain though? Southampton would still finish 19th, therefore still relegated? Are Forrest really complying with FFP with their spending, especially if not relegated?
