I make it out as a claret stripe with a black outline to it. I think it’s straight but the crease in the shirt makes it appear like a point.

Would like to clarify that the shirt image was already up on Twitter for 15 minutes beforehand, I weren't the first one to tweet about it. Also not much of a leak if it's literally hanging in the club shop as we speak for anyone in the public eye to see

Might well be mate but you have a lot bigger reach & ‘standing’ - especially with BFC the entity than smaller accounts.

Never seen a yellow Burnley shirt I liked. Never. Weird, because it's impossible for a Brazil shirt to look bad, but never liked yellow with claret.

I can only imagine that there’s been a bit of a balls up in the club shop as well.

You know what we’re like these days - like to spread everything out to maximise impact online etc etc.

You’re of course free to do what you’d like, I just can’t imagine that sharing/retweeting leaks will go down well the BFC brass.

Last seasons home shirt was as bad as the original it replicated. Glad it’s gone, twas bloody awful.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions, but I'm genuinely amazed by anyone who doesn't think last season's home shirt is a top five GOAT.

Really is a shocker. One of the worst I can remember in 40 years.

First instinct is Watford home shirt (not helped by the W), not a Burnley away shirt.

I love a sash, but that one……

Liked last year’s home shirt but not this year’s one. This one had WW88 staring out at me as though it was Wolves goading us again for the 1988 final.

All three of last season’s kits are still on sale in the club shop. You can also buy them online from Umbro and Classic Football Shirts.

I’m impressed how people can form such substantive opinions based on a mobile phone photo of a partly folded shirt taken from a peculiar angle.

The home shirt that so many loved last season looked bloody horrific on the first leaked photos. It’s now considered a classic.
