Positive - only 1 more league thrashing by city this year

Positives: We definitely laid a glove or two on them despite their obvious superiority. Trafford wasn't overworked. City had to work hard and the main difference was Haaland.
I have to think hard to find a negative and that tells me there weren't any.

Great workout for our new look team and confidence gained from that and Kompany's assertion that this team will get stronger as the season progresses.

Good season ahead.

Poor first goal and not a good headed clearance for their third, nonetheless some neat and encouraging play.
