Probably quiet because seemingly they'd (some) been out on the lash that day & some would have got up mega early tanked up & got back in the early hours the following day after, nothing do with us shutting them up the late kick off & early start & alcohol probably would have done the trick alone, snoozing on the coaches back in a zombified like state.

So that accounts for the non stop singing 2nd half after they all presumably had a nap at half time

You do know, contrary to common belief, the MAJORITY of fans do not follow their teams just to go on a bender every game.
