'Not my Dad's Burnley'

Can we have that on a banner?
the quote came from Burnley FC Head of Commercial, Markus Mellor in this podcast - sometimes comment like this hit back full in the face

People will have varying views of Inside Sport's articles - but they have started a new podcast series called - 'Behind the Badge' - the fact there is another long running podcast series of the same name that is reasonably high profile says a lot about Inside Sport).

However, the first episode features Burnley FC Head of Commercial, Markus Mellor, means it could be of interest to us

It was recorded in mid August so optimism was still high

I imagine if the club failed to sell a single item anywhere in the ground for a couple of consecutive home games they'd soon shape up.

We’ve never had any catering issues with the club and it’s easy to solve, like us, just don’t buy anything. We do though enjoy a quality coffee before the game which is provided by Simon and his colleague in their mobile vans near the fanzone area.

When I asked they said some people dont want it like that so they provide milk ,, ops they dont have it
This is a radical suggestion. 💡

Provide black or whitened coffee, the majority will ask for white coffee, and prevent the farce of people digging through a tray filled with used sachets of milk and sugar to find the last remaining milk.

Some games there's been more chance of finding one of Willy Wonka's golden tickets.

Apperntly not , I had the same problem with burgerKing who could not refund there mistake took nearly a month to get a resolution , I got vouchers for twice the amount not a great way to do business and it was my persistance that got it rather than them sorting it out
Two wrongs don‘t make a right. Burger king refusing to give refunds does not mean it is OK for Burnley to do the same and give a free pass to break consumer law. The lack of training excuse is pathetic as well. The systems and training should be in place.
