Yeah Chris Pearce was certainly very good that night.

He was regarded as a bit of a clown at the club, but he was certainly loved by the younger supporters.

I was in the Northampton end incognito for that game. Burnley were chanting about Blackburn going down and all the home fans were convinced Burnley were chanting at them because they were already down. Needless to say they were not best pleased with the Burnley fans on that day.

Loved probably because of his dancing and general clowning around.

Absolutely outstanding that day at Bradford City - not so much in the next round when he conceded six. But that performance was what probably won him a deal at Bradford City when he left us a year later.

David Williams was in goal in the next round when we conceded six.
