He will have to learn how to get into goalscoring positions more regularly. That was a huge weakness in his game.

Who's buying Koleosho before August 31st after playing just 15 game's in an injury hit season and will be just about fit for the start of the seasonclarets1978 wrote: ↑Tue May 14, 2024 1:59 pmThe money is safe because if Koleosho makes it past August 31st still a Burnley player, he'll be sold by January 31st.. unless he gets 18 before christmas of course![]()

I like your optimism. Wish I had the same.

Top half. Created a million chances and scored just a few.

We have a better squad, but a poorer team. I think with a summer behind them and 1 or 2 real leaders brought in, we could surpass last season.
There are a lots of ifs and buts and variables in any season, so nothing is guaranteed, but I'm more confident than I was when relegated 2 years ago.
The points target is a bonus, if we go up with 90 pts I'd be over the moon.

Crikey you must see a very different game to me. Esteve / O’Shea are levels above last years back line.
Odobert, Koleosho & JBL better than Zaroury, Benson & Tella - here I am talking collectively vs comparing individuals against each other, but the former two we still have, so doesn’t really matter.
Foster better than Barnes and that’s no disrespect to Barnes - Father Time catches up with us all, but we need pace up front.

For me ...defence is worse ...midfield centre a bit stronger wide players a bit better ...strikers cannot see we have any goalscorers
My prediction 8 to 10

Then he's gone in January. There's no way this board turns down a decent offer for any of our playersAGENT_CLARET wrote: ↑Tue May 14, 2024 4:21 pmWho's buying Koleosho before August 31st after playing just 15 game's in an injury hit season and will be just about fit for the start of the season

Big Call - I know who I would rely on more, yes Foster is younger and quicker but let's see how many games he's available for next season, how many goals and how many assists ? - time will tell.

If we are 10 points clear in January the club won’t be concerned about selling anyone.
If we are 10 points behind 2nd, that is another matter.
I suspect they will want to hang onto players that the Championship will find too hot to handle. Luca being one.

** unless you factor in player power to force a move & big money offers that greedy owners would not turn down. Dont be thinking Pace & co wouldnt do it. They aren't interested in anything but money
