Crocodiles, Heaven Up, Porcupine and Ocean Rain are very good albums, but for me, they lost their way after Ocean Rain.

Re: Classic albums revisited(reprise)
Saw Bruce in Cork last night. Same line up since the Wrecking Ball tour, 2013, but they stir it up every time around. Brilliant as ever.
On the back of that:
Darkness on the Edge of Town
The River
and the incomparable Born To Run. Every track is epic.
PS. Pleased to see a nod to Bruce Hornsby earlier.

After the goldrush -Neil Young
That was on Reprise Records (mentioned in the OP's title!) I think. Reprise also for a time made a vinyl record that was very floppy compared to the more solid types.

Eno is brilliant. I also love his first solo album Here Come the Warm Jets which includes this brilliant piece of music.

Aqualung - Jethro Tull
My all time favourite album..the intro on Locomotive Breath is one of the finest intros ever..., imo of course.

I'm not a great NY fan but "After The Goldrush" and "Harvest" are monumental albums.Hipper wrote: ↑Sat May 18, 2024 8:28 amAfter the goldrush -Neil Young

Aladdin Sane is a masterpiece with the beautiful Lady grinning soul as the hauntingly beautiful best track

There's been much talk about Manchester's Co-op Arena in recent weeks but many years ago I was at the Band on the Wall to see The Chameleons perform their classic 'Script of the Bridge ' album. Amazing gig, and a venue that oozes character.DingleDangle wrote: ↑Fri May 17, 2024 10:20 pmThe Chameleons - Script of the Bridge
