Yes there are legitimate concerns about transfer dealings and whether the board have got the right balance between frugality and wastefulness.

I have seen more live games of Burnley in Division Four than any other division we've played in and whilst I was demoralised a fair amount of time I never for one second thought that we were a joke.

I echo these sentiments. I didn't go on the 'Orient' game. Couldn't bring myself to. Spent the entire afternoon driving around listening to Radio Blackburn. But attended pretty much ever other home game that season and never thought we were a joke, even then. I was deeply worried and sad it had come to that but never considered us a joke. I guess you'd have to remember those days to realise that what we have achieved and realise how far we have come.
