Superb to all involved... It may take a bit of work, but a bit of collection for something similar may be a good initiative.

Some people do or at least try to but I find that people are very cautious & to a extent even paranoid that you are up to no good due to the amount of bad people about & their previous bad experiences. Society doesn't seem to be as trusting as it once was.Burnley1989 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 20, 2024 5:29 pmAbsolutely love that! Funny the useless things you remember from your childhood! Didn't he keep a clean sheet as well?

Re: Kind person!
The most remarkable one was against Leicester on the Turf in 1982/83. Alan Stevenson was sent off and Paul McGee went in goal for the resulting penalty. They scored the pen and McGee came straight back out with Brian Laws going in goal having missed a penalty himself. We won another penalty which McGee missed.
So we had three goalkeepers, one sent off and two who missed penalties. We lost the game 4-2.
I’ve also seen Andy Farrell go in goal and Les Latham as well as the others mentioned on this thread.

Re: Kind person!
Sorry to bump this again but parker literally just received another package from James mcdonoue. An order straight from classic football shirts. Genuinely can't believe this we are taken aback, these will be passed on when he grows out of them but so so kind. Even included a football! Burnley fans literally are the best. UTC and a massive thankyou from Parker
