Coldest I've been was the Peterborough game mentioned a few times above. I almost couldn't celebrate Jay's worldie because I was almost frozen into my seat.

Wettest I've ever been was probably the Macclesfield game at their place. Got beat, Andy Cooke (I think) got sent off for sod-all with their guy Sodje apparently bragging after the match about how he'd conned the ref to win the red card, and John O'Kane arrived on loan from Everton and despite playing on a swamp managed to finish the game with socks cleaner than when he started. A testament to his ability to find the periphery of a game and stay there.

Port Vale was no fun either, but the look on McMinn's face as he quickly realised he wasn't slowing down from his Klinsmann dive and was about to aquaplane into the Bee Hole End will live long in the memory.

Honourable mention for the game away at Hull under Middlemass where it hosed it down pre-match, only for the sun to come out at kick-off and it start raining goals past Wayne Russell instead.

I remember that. Absolute deluge. From the pitch being fine to a paddy field in 10 minutes.
Wasn't it a New Years Day game?

I remember when I was a steward in the early 90s that I got soaked stood at the exit in the middle of the Bee Hole end at a home game vs Scunthorpe. I wasn't allowed to go underneath to shelter even though nobody in their right mind was on that end that day. It wasn't even my normal spot. I was usually cosy in one of the Bob Lord stand exits. Stitched up methinks :D
Im pretty positive that was new years day 1991. I always went on the bee hole end in those days but we got shifted through those gates to longside and I saw nothing of the game as I was a kid at the time. Ive still got the rain damaged programme for it as well

I once went to watch Bury play Southend (2015 I think!), when we got there it was clear the pitch as waterlogged. There was puddles everywhere on it! Game kicked off and was abandoned after 7 minutes. I think thats the least amount of football ive seen for an abandonment!

For ones on about the Peterborough game being cold, I think Scarborough Autoglass Trophy 1992 abandoned on 90 minutes was the coldest I have ever been!
