Re: Tonight's Football
Shame our 3 pens were turned away bs Plymouth. A 3-0 win vs Leeds would’ve taken us top then

Lot of new players coming in a Bramall Lane. Maybe it’s not a good thing.

Re: Tonight's Football
Sheff Utds defence were so poor for that second, all just walking around not sticking a foot in.

Hull have looked decent since the second, but how they found themselves 2-0 up I’ll never know.

Re: Tonight's Football
Just shown a replay and the offside could have been here. Tight one but a damn sight closer than Campbell was to offside. That is the guy that headed it onto Campbell.

Because they took their chances, not being facetious ag, but that's the bottom line.agreenwood wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2025 9:31 pmHull have looked decent since the second, but how they found themselves 2-0 up I’ll never know.
Blades have had theirs, but skied most of them into the stands. And a bit of luck.
And aren't we glad....

Hope the ref isn't eating a sandwich when Wilder goes to see him after the game.

Re: Tonight's Football
Jeez. Disaster of a night from the Blades.
Wilder’s subs were Sunday league. Just chuck loads of attacking players on. They’ve had no shape since Hull’s second.

Foregone conclusions out of the window with this this one.

This has been coming for Sheff Utd. They were rubbish the other night at Swansea too.

Re: Tonight's Football
I think that I can safely say that Sheffield Utd have lost this match.
Re: Tonight's Football
I've got a feeling that if it's advantage and the move ends with a shot then you can't go back and book them.Tricky Trevor wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2025 8:07 pmDid he book the Blades player after the goal?
It was an obvious yellow for denying the breakaway, even though he failed miserably.

Re: Tonight's Football
Well it is certainly what the doctor ordered.
I predict now that if we win on Monday we win the league. If we lose on Monday we finish second.
In short, I think we will go up.

A team that tries to reinforce their attack does so at their peril.agreenwood wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2025 9:26 pmLot of new players coming in a Bramall Lane. Maybe it’s not a good thing.

Re: Tonight's Football
Had Burnley drawn this 0-0 at home there would have been much criticism. Bottom sides should never be underestimated because if they get the first goal they can go on to win as was proven tonight.

Was a surprise that he started Diaz & Cannon straight away. Might not have been a popular move in a dressing room that had got the team into second place.CrosspoolClarets wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2025 9:53 pmA team that tries to reinforce their attack does so at their peril.

Fantastic result for Hull and us. What a banana skin for the Blades. Now to do Leeds 4-0 to go top. UTC!
