Re: Huge win
With us and Sheff Utd still to face each other, Leeds are still in the driving seat.Tackler49 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 15, 2025 11:19 pmA few weeks ago Hugh Woozenccroft said that Leeds already had one foot back in the Premier League well they must have bloody big feet because after today’s results they aren’t guaranteed anything yet with our record we are the strongest of the top three Coventry City might be a test but we look really capable of winning all of our last 8 games. Our win today makes sure the other two are now under pressure, we’ll see what Sh Utd do against Sh Wed tomorrow

Steady on. He's a good player at this level when he's at it but some of the criticism levelled at him is fair enough. He does drift in and out of games and he doesn't often enough provide the end product we all hope he does. Let's face it, he'd be in the PL already if he did.

Wingers are the players who are up and down with their performances but Anthony is very consistent.

This is certainly the caseVegas Claret wrote: ↑Sat Mar 15, 2025 5:00 pmDid what we needed to do, some really good individual performances and another clean sheet. Special mention for Josh Laurent who I thought was excellent. Looks an absolute bargain
The huge wins will be against Bristol City , Coventry and Sheffield Utd. This was a necessary win.
Re: Huge win
Well given our goal difference at least we have made the play offs given Brizzle have to play WBA

Re: Huge win
Massive win yesterday. Our away form is incredible.
With two really tough games coming up after the international break (after which I never think we play our best - same is probably true for all teams though), and the most draws of the top 3, I’m still not convinced we’ll win enough games.
The Edwards effect is a reason to be positive and 25 unbeaten suggests we won’t lose many either, but not convinced we attack at pace or in enough numbers yet to pick up the wins we’ll need with two other good teams in the hunt. That has to be the priority in the last 8 games and still needs a bit of a mindset shift from Scotty (who’s been excellent - no complaints) for me to get that confidence.
Hope I’m very wrong though.
Injuries to any of the top 3 sides will also play their part so fingers crossed we get good luck on that front.

All three teams have key players they expect to be in the line up. To be honest I don't know too much about Leeds or Sheff Utd. players but which one of ours missing would you consider the biggest setback? Not had a lot to do recently but Trafford for me.

Re: Huge win
I think for us over the course of the season we’ve been pretty unlucky with Beyer and Ramsey out all year, Benson, Foster and Flemming all out earlier in the year, even Browny for a short period. That’s not to mention €18m Tresor’s ‘injuries’.Silkyskills1 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 17, 2025 4:46 pmAll three teams have key players they expect to be in the line up. That said we’ve been very lucky with others. I’d expect Cullen would be the biggest loss, then any from CJ, Esteve and Trafford.
Leeds concede but often outscore so any injuries to their forward line could disrupt things. I don’t even think it needs to be your best player. Opposite with Sheffield who are keeping clean sheets like us so an injury or two at the back probably hurts them most.
