[It Is What It Is]

I lived in ACCY, late 60s and early 70s. It was a great thriving town then, nice big proper market, big name stores, Marks and Spencers, Woolworths etc.
Good pubs, decent food, a more than decent town
Fast forward to earlier this year when I had reason to visit ACCY.
It was a lovely sunny day but oh what a thoroughly depressing place.
Shops boarded up, charity shops, cheap end stores
Plainly obvious the Council was not encouraging or supporting any new investment.
