Good technical player in the Championship, but he'd need to drop the greasy chip butty diet if he wants to step up to the PL

People still referring to his shape when he was much better today than all the other thinner midfielders on the pitch !!

Think he’d be a good signing for us for next season and crucially he’d probably be within our range of affordability in terms of fee and salary,

Hannibal showed today how good he is too. Definitely won his battles against Souza and his energy driving us forward this week and in the last couple of months has been excellent and key to our success.

He’s a top, top player. Enjoyed watching him today. Probably their only player to come out of the game with any real credit.

He’s a potato but a good potato. Finds himself a lot of space which is always the sign of a good player. Impressed with his work getting back as well today. If there’s one criticism it’s that he clearly gets frustrated and gets a bit wild at times but he’s a cut above anything else they have so that’s probably why.

I'd love him at Burnley if Blades don't go up.

I saw Hamer and spoke to him today at Crowwood. He was in the pool down there with a number of the Sheffield team.

He was pleasant, polite and likeable. He was chatting with a number of different people in the changing rooms and wished Burnley good luck.
Although he doesn't look overly athletic on the television he is certainly not fat / chubby at all.

I'd love us to sign him next season.

I thought that he was by far their best player. Would be a decent Premier league player, not sure if we would want him though

I'd be worried about his discipline in the PL tbh, superb player though - comfortably their best player today

Think Sheff U have a couple of useful players if Parker was interested in them.

Hamer, who in my day would be described as barrel-chested, but whatever shape he is, he's a cracking footballer. If we somehow managed to get him, it would give us a good number of midfielders to rotate with injuries, form and suspensions to consider.

Burrows, as a left back, comfortable as a wingback, with great timing when he shoots and will score goals.

Ahmedhodzic, although he didn't have his best game today, with a couple of bad errors, I still saw enough to convince me that he has the required mobility to fit into a Scott Parker team.

Cooper, the keeper, I'm personally not sure about, but I'd like to see more of him, as I've read lots of good things about him.

So, if they manage to maintain their record of never winning a play-off campaign, some of those players might become available. If we could get Hamer and at least one other I'd be happy.

Yep… the more rounded shape didn’t do Maradona any harm.
