Re: Hannibal
I thought Hannibal was moved out right to replace Edwards to make room for Laurent

Re: Hannibal
He’s well on the way already. Interested to know why you think he will never be a cult hero?Bin Ont Turf wrote: ↑Mon Apr 21, 2025 11:39 pmHe'll never be a cult hero.
Only Steve (not including Barnes) will be a cult hero in this side.

Re: Hannibal
I'd say that any skilful player (and he is) that has a bit of devilment in them (he has) is well on the way to becoming a cult hero.Bin Ont Turf wrote: ↑Mon Apr 21, 2025 11:39 pmHe'll never be a cult hero.

Re: Hannibal
He whines too much and has got the shithouse style of a continental player rather than Barnes' style say.PremierLeagueClass wrote: ↑Fri Apr 25, 2025 11:10 amHe’s well on the way already. Interested to know why you think he will never be a cult hero?
And although he's been great, he's not done much (yet) for cult status.
Re: Hannibal
Hannibal's French speaking dad was quite poorly here in Britain earlier in the season and this might have made him more emotional.

Re: Hannibal
He is full on and made another huge contribution yesterday. Very skilful too.

Re: Hannibal
You can see what Manchester United saw in him. Very nifty and is surprisingly quick. Reads the game well. Very limited range of passing but he makes up for it in other areas. He encourages players to make runs and open play around him.

Re: Hannibal
Limited range of passing? The ball between the right back and centre half to Anthony at QPR was the pass of the season.

Re: Hannibal
Earlier in the season he needed too long on the ball and was repeatedly caught in possession. I don’t think it was the quality of the passing that was missing so much as the choice and timing. Like so many young players he needed game time and of course he needed to get himself under control. We are now seeing the benefits of that in the dynamism he has added to our midfield. A real talent and a joy to watch. As others have he is quick too.
