I hope we have learnt our lesson and don’t buy every Tom Dick and Luca.
The rumours are just rumours and typically if more than one team is mentioned it’s only Agent and Journo rubbish

Surely there will have been relegation clauses in most if not all of their contracts ? I thought Williams had pretty much confirmed that ?

My gut is that whatever we declare profit wise will be just enough to avoid PSR and also not too much so that we have a hefty corporation tax bill (though last years losses will offset that I presume)

EPL wage bill is a different matter. Looking like £95m is going to become the miminum we can hope for and even then we will remain one of the lowest in the league. This level of wages puts a lot of pressure on getting the player sale model right which unfortunately for us supporters means anybody who performs well is unlikely to be at the club for more than a couple of years maximum (or often a lot less if we get relegated)
There will be relegation clauses but we also lost a big chunk of broadcast money. Most people on here have under estimated wages for the last two years including the loss we suffered in the Championship year and the almost £90 million last year.

I agree the player model is key but given we have (arguably) around 38 - 40 players on the books if you include younger players who played in the first team last year it begs the question whether it is as easy to sell players as it sounds. In reality, the length of the contracts and the fact that most in a squad of that size will not be increasing their value is a problem.

Having spent Eur60 million already this summer but still require at least 2 players. I think we are better equipped than last time but cannot see where the goals will come from or that Josh Cullen can operate in a single pivot in the PL. So, I expect more spending but I don't see any scenario where we don't sell players.

The next few weeks will be interesting.
