That Fulham figure has to be utter crap.

Do we need to charge more for tickets?
No. Income from tickets is dwarfed by the TV income and prize money in the PL.

We sell out of season tickets, yes many out of towners, me included, but football tourists won't be buying many season tickets.Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Fri Jul 25, 2025 12:23 pmIt certainly helps.
Personally I think Premier league football attracts more out of town fans and tourists, rather than local families.

Funny you should say that; and how wrong you are.
On the dog walk this morning I bumped into (figuratively) a chap I know who is a Fulham supporter. So I complimented him on being at the top of the league for cost of season tickets. We had a bit of a laugh about it and he then dropped this bombshell. For the first home game of the season in the new Riverside Stand, top of the range, access all areas including the swimming pool - and he didn’t mean the Thames - the cost of a ticket is £750. Bargain.

The Fulham figure quoted is for a 4 course lunch at every home game plus seat

As a wise man once said "we're Burnley not Barcelona"

We pay double our season ticket revenue in interest payments that is the problem
