It’s not just Burnley fans who moan. I was on Everton (Grand Old Team) forum the other day and they were playing hell about customer service and everything else at their club. They have a brand new stadium as well.
The new CFS “ corner “ atmosphere challenge ?

Atmosphere seemed good yesterday although speakers in Longside upper were very loud.

We are in CFS and it sounded okay in there, however I think by isolating the two singing blocks away from each other (CFS and CFS Side of JH), the athmosphere won't travel around the ground as much, especially when we are signing against a larger amount of away fans in the CFS and the JH might not fully be able to pick up on it because of the noise of the away fans between us and thus won't be joining in.
I prefer one of the suggestions about to have the whole CFS for home fans and move the away fans.

That's what I fed in to the club, when they asked for feedback.AlargeClaret wrote: ↑Tue Aug 19, 2025 8:29 pmI know this has been discussed on other threads but is this actually a permanent ( when completed ) move of the home CFS lot ? The more I think about it ,were further away from. “ linking” to the Longside and have a full away end sandwiched in between . It seems almost suicidal in terms of atmosphere?

Halfway line Longside lower . You gotta remember despite the acoustics in the CFS you lot are very isolated now . Sunderland were often ( understandable to a point ) drowning /dulling you lot out. Sure , once we scored it livened up and the Longside was decent enough . Though the game itself was pretty dire so hardly a game for lung bursting singing .

Yeah I get what you’re saying. From what I’ve seen at other grounds, once you split the home support with the away fans stuck in the middle, the noise just dies off. Unless the club has a proper plan to keep both sides engaged it’ll feel really flat. Honestly feels like they’re prioritising segregation over atmosphere.
