They do work, because my mate who took my ticket for Sunderland used a QR code I screenshot and sent to himRick_Muller wrote: ↑Sat Sep 06, 2025 12:54 pmScreenshots definitely don’t work and I have a suspicion that the Burnley app detects the screenshot and marks the ticket as used. That’s my experience of doing that

You don't actually need a mobile phone to post on a message board. It's perfectly possible to have a PC but no phone.nil_desperandum wrote: ↑Sat Sep 06, 2025 8:49 amWe’ve had this discussion quite recently
There are all sorts of reasons why someone may not have a smartphone or may not have access to it on a matchday.
A lot of children under 11 for a start, and some quite a bit older.
There will also be quite a number of supporters who have a laptop or PC, and can therefore access this site, but don’t have a smartphone
You can get a SIM card for calls and texts only for less than £4/ month. It’s all that some people need or want, and it’s not for others on here to judge them for this choice.
(I also know at least one person - obviously not a poster on here - who has no mobile phone of any kind.)
