Going to be hard work to get away with anything respectable today but we're doing fairly well, arguably should be ahead too. What is clear is that the Parker PL side looks to have a stronger Dyche like jaw than the Kompany one did. So that bodes well.

VAR already checked and it stays a yellow.

Not sure what U was supposed to do there, anyway.

Conceding the corners is a smart ploy, pulls their defenders forward leaving space for Foster and Anthony to run into.

In terms of a rank bad half of officiating this is up there with the worst I've seen in recent years!

Michael Oliver can't be sending a Liverpool player off like that

They're not at their magical best are Liverpool but we've been so, so good at containing them. A brilliant defensive performance from us. Delighted it's 0-0 at the break. Come on Burnley.

******* awful refereeing. Got the call for dive correct but literally everything else wrong

The lads have been exceptional though but they've really got an uphill battle against the refs to contend with on top.

Oliver abysmal. Just watch the consistency on the shoves in the back. Enjoyed celebrating our free kicks.

Unless forced, I don't imagine we'll make any changes anytime soon and will see what changes they make.

We're playing well and have had some chances on the break where we could have done a bit better.

Oliver is always a disaster, but other than the Mac Allister incident, he's been fairly innocuous.

I am not sure about that. Big Les on a yellow, so Parker may swap him out for Luis in the 2nd half.

Either way no player should be coming off due to performance. They have all done very well that first half.

It is the small inconsistencies. He's nowhere near some of the characters we saw last season but the little stuff is only going one way. For example Fozzy is up against it because they letting the two handed shove go, we will not get the same advantage. Or the corner he failed to give. We already are up against it and he stacks it further with the small decisions.

Been nervous about this game, but simultaneously looking forward to it. It’s going as expected, attack versus defense, right now I’m so pleased that in my mind, we’ve won the first half. However, I’m expecting Liverpool to move the ball faster in the second half and obviously we need to keep closing the space. I’ll be delighted with a draw, not thinking about the win yet, but maybe, just maybe I will with 10-5 minutes to go, stranger things have happened!!

Won the first half? Just got in in northern Thailand. You got me all excited, but it's 0-0.
