It concerns me that we set up like that v Nottingham Forest at home. I appreciate Ugochukwu wasn’t available for that one but it was still a very defensive set up for a home game against a team we should be looking to take maximum points
There is no team in the Prem, from which, either home or way, we can EXPECT 3 points. Every point is precious and very hard earned.

Exactly that, he isn't being instructed to play anything like a trad number 9.

Yeah, I do believe we have enough firepower in the middle to dictate play a bit more than we have, I'd take those three over a lot of teams' midfields in the PL, which I'd have last said when we had Cork, Defour and Hendrick fit and firing.
It's the outlet ball that is the concern for me. The way we play with everybody behind the ball means if we win it back it flies straight back in and we are under constant pressure.
Every match park the bus

I didn’t say we should expect 3 points in any game and I’m very much of the opinion ‘respect the point’ at this level. Something that used to be peddled regularly by Dyche.

I would EXPECT us to target some games above others though where we have more of a chance of taking maximum points.

It is not something to dwell on, however, that at the time, conveyed, to me, that there are such games. should/expect not so different.

Well……we should have been looking to take maximum points from that game. Doesn’t mean I was expecting it.
