George Brown (Wednesday scorer) has a fair old story.

Played junior football at the grassroots club I volunteer at and also a local private academy (UFCA). Never went through a professional club academy and only signed for Wednesday 12 months ago as an 18 yo. Rare these days. That’s his second goal of the season tonight.

Rovers are protesting the result. They say the pitch became unplayable when they were leading 1-0. So they want the game replayed, but with that game starting with Rovers leading 1 -0.
