Magnificent game, once again magical substitutions, magical winning goal and terrific result
I think it is our strength in depth that it the main cause of our success this season. Someone struggling, take them off and bring on someone equally good. Look at Coventry last week - 1 good first XI but nothing on the bench to change things up when they started tiring.

Love how the pundits on SKY who were praising WBA in the first half, are backing down saying how good we were. I think Chris Iwelumo is one of our best ambassadors. He absolutely senses what our club and the town are all about, and so passionate about us
Pretty much dry humping West Brom for 88 minutes until it was out of sight and then it’s all how Burnley have been great. Can’t stand Hinchcliffe and expected better from Wilder as I rate him.

Super management from VK.
Great win, and so pleased for Scott Twine.

West Brom forum are being very respectful. Only odd one saying tactics were wrong but most saying we deserved the win and best team they have faced. Most say it was the worst they had played.
I didn't think they played that back, I think we upped the pace and pressure in the second half and they couldn't cope.

Thanks!

Did you watch that game through your one bad eye?

WBA were good going forward that night until it came to the box, but we had more clear cut chances that night than any other game this season.
Kompany just said that West Brom battered us at their place

I'd associate the term getting battered with one of our Man City defeats of recent years. No way did WBA batter us earlier this season
VK just now on Sky about the game at theirs - “they battered us”.

(Fwiw I disagree with him)

Ha, interesting. Wonder how he would have classified some of his wins against us when he was at City as a player?

Was interesting to hear their manager say it’s hard to press us because our keeper has ‘a lot of solutions’

They did batter us at Hawthorns but we had so many breakaway chances that we squandered. Cost us the win in the end.

Wilder’s a decent guy, lived around the corner from me, not sure if he still does. Talked some sense tonight, Hinchcliffe is a tool though. They were praising the underdog tonight but we just ground them down, which is what all that passing is about at the back. Look at City last night, case in point.

This team….

Agreed Hinchcliffe is poor-very critical and a big "know-all". Much prefer Don Goodman even if he is a Wolves fan :D

Incredible squad which is why we should win the league with 100 points. Every time we make subs they have an impact. We are missing 3 of our best players in Cork, THB and Guddy and still have enough on the bench to come on and win the game against a form side.

We definitely missed much of our usual crossfield passes courtesy of the missing personnel and the opposition’s set up. However, we can beat the best teams in the division in third gear tbh. Incredible team.

First time I've had chance to comment on last night's hard fought victory, even ahead of KO it had the feel of a big match in the promotion race, and once again we showed we have the skill and also the character to deal with whatever teams in this league can throw at us.

Also a word for the fans who stayed with the team during that rough 20-25 minutes in the 1st half, yes I heard the odd moan and groan when a pass was misplaced but they were in the vast minoroty.
