I really don't want to see this club become a Stoke even if it guarantees success.
He can play across the front and bring more than just goals.
This is the bit you're ignoring on purpose.

So you don't want any form of success if it means we do a Stoke and stay in the PL for an extended period of time?

At last, your true colors are on display, you'd rather we dropped down a league over staying in the PL.

Bringing in cork will add more defence to the midfield and this will let Hendrick/Defour go more forward and add to the attack

Seems really weird that they have come out of the woodwork now they are the biggest team in League One.

Old mates Dean Marney and Michael Duff will probably have had a bearing on this decision.

Cork will know the positive effect SD and his team have had on their careers and the positive environment that has been created at Turf Moor. (The new set up at Gawthorpe will be a bit of a shock.)

We are lucky he has some ties to the club as not many players could have stepped into Joey Barton's boots but this fella can.

He has the same quality and nouse at PL level but the fact he is 6 years younger explains why this is an £8 million deal.

Some will be shocked at how good he is and what a postive impact he will have on the team.

Great signing.

Cork 'the sideways passer' has now assisted twice in 2 games with 2 very good FORWARD passes. I know it's only pre-season but it's a good sign,
