Similar to croatia game. Poor game. Savic almost with a moment of magic wrongly flagged offside.

Interesting game coming up. Mexico are no mugs and the Germans sometimes get off to a sluggish start before doing what they do best as the tournament progresses.

Gonna enjoy this. If England don't win it (which they won't) i'd like to see Germany defend it. Just looked and a world cup hasn't successfully been defended since Brazil did it in 62.

Excellent referee. Loved when he created a barrier when Kroos bellied up to him.
They should all do that and if the player doesn’t retreat a step book them.

Definitely not a pen. Hernandez fell forward when being pulled back by Hummels.

Germany look so slow and obviously susceptible to the counter attack. It’d be daft to write them off though.

Had them down as my favourites to disappoint. You can never write them off. And they have obvious quality. But for me they lack pace and power.

Agreed. The best teams so far have been quick and direct. We’ll probably see that from Brazil tonight. Looks like the days of ponderous keep-ball in international football are at an end.
