He's already served half of the time with his previous imprisonment so it will actually be 19 weeks, half of which will be in prison.

If anyone wants a laugh you can see his supporters protesting here

Jeez..the "Top Chat" scrolling feed to the right of that video is like a written open sewer.
Anyway it's a pleasing thought that Mr Y-L is out of the way for a while.

The big point what people are missing is the fact that the accused in the original trial were granted anonymity until sentencing, yet when other high profile sex offenders such as Stuart Hall and Max Clifford were arrested their names were made public. Theresa May in Parliament said they were made public to allow others to come forward so why wasn’t those accused in the Leeds trial made public surely it could have persuaded others to come forward to make an even stronger case.
I have no sympathy with TR he knew the facts so shouldn’t have filmed he should have made the case as to why they were granted anonymity when Stuart Hall wasn’t

This bit isn't true. They had been named in news reports prior to the case.

The Leeds trial was part of a bigger case hence reporting restrictions.
But on your point I read in the Independent recently that police had arrested 44 people in the Kirklees area over sexual abuse of teenage girls in Yorkshire, can’t find their names anywhere so musn’t have been made public yet, not linked to another case.

I hope uses this time wisely and thinks about what he's going to wear in the future. He's got some truly awful clothes.
Could maybe give the halfwitted racism a rethink too, but I'd make the tailoring a priority.

Is there a specific "Dress code" your suggesting? Out of curiosity what do you wear on a daily basis? Excluding Sundays.

I take it that's a rhetorical question.
Tommy against thick so he must have known that revealing details of an ongoing trial would land him in stew, according to some social media posts he not only filmed the accused, but also filmed the defendant's therefore placing them in a potential harmful situation, that's how much good old Tommy cares about the victims of grooming gangs.
It's also being mentioned how on earth a guy with a lengthy criminal record, and who apparently has no stable employment can afford a million pound property,i wonder who funds this lavish lifestyle

Yes, there were reporting restrictions but the defendants had been named in the press prior to the case. They weren't anonymous.
I don't know about the Kirklees case. From a quick look they don't seem to have been charged yet so the police wouldn't have released any names.

Although I was quite amused to see that one of his defences was in relation to the European Convention on Human Rights. I'm sure Tommy isn't normally a fan of it.

When a celebrity’s agent is doing his job and applying for ‘super injunctions’ he keeps his client’s name out of the press. Once the client is in the legal/judicial system the agent wants his client’s name splashed all over the media, as he will then make a submission to the judge that his client will not be afforded a fair trial due to the advanced publicity of the trial and all subsequent reports published.

I'd hazard a guess that there are 44 linked cases
