Bobby Thomas has gone out so there’s one. Who else would you like to see gone?

We are going to have to move on someone if we are to use a good portion of the 26 currently over 21 who can play. At least two of Norris Phillips Long Barnes, Lowton Westwood will need to be excluded from the 25 or leave to allow one more incoming and three if we want to sign another two by my calculations

This does not help as his age means he wouldn't be in the 25 squad and could have played for us

Would probably be beneficial for Costelloe to go out on loan too.

Fair comments but he was brilliant when he came on against Millwall. He is our only real "strong man" in character and physique for a battle. He can hold the ball up and lay it off to maintain possession. He has a role to play but he doesn't seem like a natural fit for VK and his skill set is definitely downward trending. 9

He's been a great player for us. He's not without his uses. I'm not going to write him off yet. He can still score.
I can't be sure but I think VK knows a bit more about football and his players than Skipton does. I think my dog probably does. Haha bit of a joke or is it?

I think VK likes Lowton, Long and Westy. I’d prefer that they stayed. Norris and Phillips can go for me.

It would do but we should have plenty of cover. The two attacking signings this week probably drop Costelloe further down the pecking order.

Phillips to Barnsley, I think.
Westy not ready, doesn't really need a squad place.
Long and Lowton... would we get anyone to pay them anything near what we do?
Norris does appear surplus to requirements.

Genuinely cannot believe how many signings we’ve made this window. It must be about as many as we’ve made since 2015 combined.

Heard there’s a possibility of Lowton being included in a deal for Obafemi.

He has been mentioned from Swansea’s end rather than ours although I’m sure we’d be open to doing that.

Clips on YouTube of him playing alongside Maatsen for Chelsea youth team.

He is absolutely tiny! Seems to be a winger/attacking midfielder.

I’d rather keep Lowton for this season, think he’s the most obvious backup to Roberts (who we will be losing for the WC). Having said that, the lad is too good to sit never playing and will be on a high salary. He’s been a cracking signing for Burnley and owes us nowt - if it’s what he wants I’d sanction it.

If German lad does come in then Lowton makes sense as part of a Obafemi deal as Beyer can play right back.

Going off what their fans are saying on twitter they are in need of a RB and many of them would be happy to sell Obafemi to raise the funds for it. This could be a good compromise.

If Swansea keep playing hard ball I personally would be happy we walk away now and celebrate a fantastic Transfer Window, and well done to the club.

CJ can play there, too. Loads of options on the right side of defence.

RCB: THB/CJ/German lad
RWB: Roberts/Vitinho/CJ/German lad

We have rebuffed PL interest in Brownhill and decided we wouldn’t sell him regardless of the offer.

Great to see.

Sorting one deal in the time remaining would take some work, getting a part exchange started from scratch to be completed surely wouldn't be feasible.

Still additional parties to get agreements from and extra details to sort. Would be very surprised. If they were done separately I could see it happening but if the deals are made absolutely dependent on each other it really complicates things from what I've heard and I don't think it would be possible in the timeframe.

I’d prefer to send Roberts back in a part ex if it means we can get a low fee for the boy Obafemi

Think Conor would probably like that as well reading between the lines…

Isn't it the case that as long as they've got part of the paperwork sorted (deal sheet?) then the rest can be completed post deadline, or something similar to that?

Agreed 👍🏻 but there is no better place than thousands of BFC fans scouring their usual sources for information and then posting it on here. Casting that net far and wide...
