Similar 'lolloping' style when moving with the ball to Kev, I'd say.
I work with a load of Blades and they are not happy bunny's right now.
Best be careful they may have their knives out

Is berge instead of Ramsey and then we still want Souza as a holder?

I’d be so depressed if we chinned off our two best players (one of which to a relegation rival) 2 weeks before the season.

A good mate of mine Aaron (season ticket holder at Bramall Lane who I had to sit next to in the home end as they demolished us 3-0 under Dyche) just text me and said "We've been promoted yet our business is that of a club that's been relegated". Says it all really - they do look stuffed.

Berge will be a very good signing and will only get better under Kompany and our coaching staff.

Out of contract in a year so just like N’Diaye, they’re over a barrel because they’re brassic. Could be a relatively cheap deal in the offing when you consider they only got £13m for N’Diaye…
Their lack of ownership is really telling against them, not that I'm complaining.
I've never been overawed by Berge, although he always gets a good press, so maybe it's me, but it seems to me that we are starting to climb down the ladder on our target list. As expectation drops, so does the hope.
The end of the day we need players that will improve our starting XI, and CM is an area we are so weak in that Berge would be an upgrade. I also have faith that VK knows a lot more about football than me.

Forgot how young he still is. He hasn’t played under the most inspiring of coaches at Sheff United. If we can take him to the next level he could be worth a fortune in a couple of years.

Not climbing down at all.,...he was one of the first players we bid for this summer...that was rejected, now gone with bigger bid

I'd guess we only want one more midfielder, any more and we're too overstocked. Berge feels more like a replacement for Brownhill from our starting line up than anyone else, to me. Possibly still seeking the Cork replacement.
Absolutely no way any midfield doesn't include Cullen when fit though!

Got to imagine the Souza links were just because we were in for Berge now. Surely they wouldn’t sell us Berge if we were also going to pip them to Souza!
Souza does look very good and I’d be happy with either.

" Languid" someone described Berge as. Maybe, I haven't seen enough of him to form an opinion. Made me think of Martin Dobson always looked like that to me - as if he was strolling up the park and he turned out OK.

I think we're in for Berge and Souza because Lokonga is messing us around and VK has given up on him.
I would love to see us sign both but I'm not sure if it's because they'd make a good midfield pairing or so I can read the Sheff U forums when it happens

Seriously hope that Brownhill is not playing games with him moving into the last year of his contract. He’s a great player but sure the gaffer and the board will move him on in a heartbeat if he is looking to run his contract down. I like Josh, I really do he was awesome last season BUT the prem looked too much for him last time and if we can get Berge and Souza in then that looks like a serious upgrade and them two along side the class of Cullen - Wow !!!!

I'd love to know what is going on inside Lokongas head.
It's clear Arsenal want rid.
There isn't a queue for his services, it would be all over Twitter if there was.
A manager wants him, that really rates him, who has helped improve him in the past, and he doesn't seem interested at all.....!!!!!!

Looking silly an hour after the post. The biggest journalist in football now confirmed it.
What has he confirmed, has he just completed the reveal video? I hope I am looking silly but he has confirmed this stage for many others for us this transfer window which haven’t been completed.
Could all be part of the game to secure one of our other targets?

Even with the sale of Ndiaye, they may need to sell Berge before replacing him, so not sure if that scenario fits.
They were in a mess last season and not sure promotion has done anything to relieve that.

Nixon now reporting that West Ham have joined Burnley in the chase for Maatsen. Suggesting we're still in it.
I was under the impression Maatsen was likely to stay at Chelsea now. Think we may be seeing the two sides of Nixon's reporting. Some accurate info (re Berge), some to sell a story (re Maatsen).
I'd be delighted if we were in for both, mind you.

Berge has all the tools required to be top drawer, it's not long ago he was linked with Liverpool but Sheff Utd wanted silly money. He's looked pretty average but he's been playing in a team that play little football - he could be outstanding for us and potentially our most clever piece of business. He will also give us much needed height at set pieces

Berge will be a fantastic signing. Exactly what we need at a great price too.
Sheff United were not ready for the Premier League before they decided to sell their 2 best players.
Cannot see anyone finishing below them this season.

Surely it's one of Odobert or Daramy so this would make sense after this morning's news.

Perhaps you are right but Odobert only 18 and looks more of a creative 10 type winger than Daramy’s pace and size (more Tella’s profile).
