The problem with dropping Mee
is that we could end the season losing three centre-backs.

Re: The problem with dropping Mee
For one game?
I wish we could stick yuu in the reserves, or even better on loan to Ullan Bator United

That would not be fair on Mongolia!

There isn't a problem. Good to see different partnerships yesterday.

Agree with you quite regularly but this is ridiculous. Mee knows he is integral to our team. Suspect he`s first on the team sheet for Dyche.ablueclaret wrote:is that we could end the season losing three centre-backs.
Re: The problem with dropping Mee
There is a difference between being rested/saved and being dropped.

Re: The problem with dropping Mee
Why would we not give the obviously talented JT a start? The only surprise was that it was not MK that was rested.

You criticise Dyche for not trying different things, you criticise Dyche for trying different things.ablueclaret wrote:is that we could end the season losing three centre-backs.

Was it that Tarks didn't play in midfield to accommodate Mee in the side?.
Re: The problem with dropping Mee
Have to admit that this is one of the most ridiculous threads I've ever seen on this forum.

Agreed summit. We are led to believe that the future is tarka and mee, so would make sense to pair them for the cup game. Anyway, SD knows best.

Re: The problem with dropping Mee
Suspect PHYSICALLY Mee needed a rest more than Keane due to his more `full on` style of play.

Re: The problem with dropping Mee
I don't bother with any thread started by AB these days.
In this case, however, I'm responding to say that the OP title was 100% obviously his even before I saw the username underneath.
Predictable and boring isn't in it.

Re: The problem with dropping Mee
Keane Tarka and Mee are in my opinion amongst the top 5 outfield players at the club, they should all be in the side.
However if Mee is dropped and I can see that as a real possibility not just a one off then that creates a whole new dynamic within the squad.
Ironically the return of Barton a player I don't think we should have gone anywhere near could ultimately result in the loss of our best defenders.

Re: The problem with dropping Mee
Midfield or defence, pick a spot for Tarkowski and stick with it.
We needed a specialist CM and we've got one.
As well as Tarkowski has apparently done, we needed a better option for the rest of this season.
It only needed an injury to a couple of CM's and a CB at the same time and we'd be short staffed again.
You can't complain when the current love of your life gets a run out at CB, because that's actually what we signed him for.
We used the cup to give him a game.
Next you'll be saying Heaton and Robinson are off next week because Pope played too...

You need to study the dynamics of soccer it's how teams rise and fall.

Re: The problem with dropping Mee
You need to stop fretting because Mee was rested for a game.
Like I said, we needed an actual CM and we've got one.
Tarks was signed as a CB and he was played there against Sunderland.
Only you would decide that Mee, Tarkowski and Keane will all be off in the summer.
It's almost like it doesn't matter that Mee signed a new deal recently...
