Checkatrade Trophy - Play Offs

The re-vamped Sherpa Van that they allowed Premier League U23 teams in. It hasn't worked and the attendances have been poor for everyone

Looks more like a balloon. Mind you I have just had an operation on my right eye and I am finding it difficult to focus.

I've read on the Blackpool gazette site that the "crowd" was near 175.

I've counted those on the photo and got 326. Some of those will be directors, not sure where their seats are.

To all those strange individuals out there who criticize our board, Manager, players, etc, etc, be very careful of what you wish for. Does not take long, as we well know, to drop like a stone.

Might be wrong, but think Burnley/Wolves had a bigger gate than the England game not long after.

Bigger gate than the Euros Final and think the largest ever between 2 4th division teams. Heart and soul has been tripped out of Blackpool and its shameful.

Sorry Vegas but I take a contrary view. The Checkatrade trophy is a joke and the fans have rightly voted with their feet. The supporters clubs of all the League One and League Two clubs have orchestrated a tremendously successful boycott of the competition and the pitiful attendances should therefore be seen as a sign of fan power and how it can force change. As result, the Football League has taken notice and there will be no U23 teams in the competition next season.

As for Blackpool, I have enormous sympathy for the disaffected supporters. They're at the end of their tether and just want the Oystons out. Nothing they do seems to be able to shift them so, again, they're voting with their feet. What else can they do? I know we've had our rivalries in the past but I wish the Blackpool supporters every success in getting their club back.

I only hope that what's happened to Blackpool will happen to that lot down the road.

About what we'd get in similar circumstances.

The attendance was never surpassed at the old Wembley as it became all-seated after.

This is correct, last night's attendance was a double barreled effort - partly the League One/League Two boycott of the competition which has forced the hands of the league and the protest against the Oystons which has seen many Blackpool fans boycott all their home games this season.

As Sausage says, it doesn't seem anything will rid the club of the Oystons no matter what they do.
