Daniel Agyei wanted by Ipswich
Apparently Ipswich want him on loan, but "Dyche has blocked the move" (from The Mirror). Does that indicate Dyche's intentions for Agyei to stay and get into the first team?
Be a shame to stop him going to a good team like Ipswich, it would be great experience.

Re: Daniel Agyei wanted by Ipswich
This would be out of the frying pan and into the fire for Agyei as the situation down here in deepest Suffolk is toxic. The natives are restless and the knives are out for Big Mick. They were outplayed by Lincoln City and were spared an embarrassing defeat at home to a non league side by two goals from their star player Tom Lawrence.
He is the guy who missed that absolute sitter against us the last time we were at Ewood Park.
If they lose the replay and it is a strong possibility, then Mick's position could be untenable.
Ipswich have also a couple of promising youngsters who the natives would rather see selected ahead of Leon Best. Plus they are in the market for Rotherham player Ward. The Strawsuckers have offered 500k and the Millers want a million. He is out of contract in July.
Therefore the chances of Agyei going to Ipswich are remote.

Was there a rumour that Brentford were also interested.

Yeah, I heard Brentford once Hogan goes Colburn_Claret.

Something good about the way Brentford produce good players. I'd loan them Agyei and a few more if they'd take them and play them.

May as well be Agyei on the bench as Bamford in my opinion - use the loan elsewhere

Re: Daniel Agyei wanted by Ipswich
The difference is, we have a player not playing football who doesn't belong to us, whereas Agyei is out there getting games. I know where you're coming from, but going off this season so far we've had little need for Bamford and therefore it would be Agyei sat there doing nothing and not getting better.Selby Claret wrote:May as well be Agyei on the bench as Bamford in my opinion - use the loan elsewhere
