I'm unable to 'like' posts

Whenever I try to 'like' posts, I get the following error message:

SQL ERROR [ mysqli ]

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 's Watch',likes_count='1', poster_id='3088'' at line 1 [1064]

An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists.

The like feature wasn't written to cope with apostrophe's or spaces in user names. It'll be sorted at some point but it doesn't effect many users so it's not been a big priority.
