Words cannot describe how bad Sunderland are !
Ill try not to take anything away from us because we was brilliant but WOW i cant even put into words how bad of a side that Sunderland team was it was horrible to watch even for a Burnley fan. It cant get much worse than that surely i feel sorry for their fans they made us look like Barcelona

Re: Words cannot describe how bad Sunderland are !
I know it's not a total excuse, but they've had really bad luck with injuries. If we'd lost as many as them we'd be struggling also. Good for us though

Re: Words cannot describe how bad Sunderland are !
moyes has suggested he was somewhat misled when he took the job. He understood the team could be strengthened but seemingly that is not likely.
I quite like moyes, i've no idea whether this is right or not. You'd assume he would have thrashed it all out before agreeing to manage them.
I thought he was treated shabbily at united but his sunderland days must be numbered if he is expected to carry the can for their recent displays/

You must be new to football if you think Sunderland's team are so bad you can't think of words to describe them.
This is the first time in years we should finish above them in the league.

They've been in this league for a while now but last night I watched and thought they really have got a lot of very poor players. Surely it's time they went down and rebuilt.

Their number 4 Denayer, my God.

It was their number 3 that summed them up for me. More fight in a rubber chicken

Is shite a word?

Bin Ont Turf: Yes, it is although I'm not sure it's in the Oxford English Dictionary.

The Premier League is really weird.
At the start you look down the list of teams and can make a case for each being ok.
(Maybe not Hull this year... but they really are the exception).
Sunderland finished really strong last year. They have an expensive squad. But my are they looking like dead-men-walking.
Rather like Swansea and Palace. Neither of which I would have picked for the bottom 4 pre season.
How do teams get into that collective malaise. I can't ever imagine SD letting his players get so "low".

There were a few words and sentences mentioned from the away end last night which come close!!

I thought so Sid, I reckon he would be clocked at around 35 seconds for the 100m, full tilt.Sidney1st wrote:They've got him on loan from City.

Didn't know he was on loan from City, certainly no cheeky bids please.

I think that's the least concerned I've ever been as a Burnley fan,at no point did I ever feel worried.
Re: Words cannot describe how bad Sunderland are !
Same, even when Defoe came on I had zero concerns.Shore claret wrote:I think that's the least concerned I've ever been as a Burnley fan,at no point did I ever feel worried.

It was strange when Defoe came on that he had absolutely no influence on the game, the only thing he did was take the kick off and look stunned when the ref gave Flanagan that free-kick.
Re: Words cannot describe how bad Sunderland are !
...but you just knew when Gray came on he would score.

I think the performance of a predominantly second string Burnley last night suggests otherwise. At least any team fielded by Dyche would show some fight.Ric_C wrote:I know it's not a total excuse, but they've had really bad luck with injuries.
