No wonder he couldn't get in our side if he's an expert on Port already.
Never had him down as a connoisseur to be honest

Re: Patrick Bamford on talks port in next hour.
Ah Dom, I suspect our manager (with his man management skills) would have said something like
"Later Pat, but we have a job to do first, and we'll have a chat, but I hear that Aitor Karanka is looking for a striker who can talk about Port".

Harvey's Bristol Cream (Sherry will do for me), I come cheap he can afford the dear Port on €30,000 a week. £6,000.000 believe he has gone for, crazy.

Re: Patrick Bamford on talks port in next hour.
Anyway, they have just had an amazing caller on from an elderly gentleman whose clearly been waiting YEARS to whinge about off side decisions given against him when he played for the RAF during the Boer War, or something

Re: Patrick Bamford on talks port in next hour.
Apparently he has agreed a 5 minute interview but doesn't expect to feature much at the start and is hopeful of coming on in the last minute.

Only to find that they've decided to interview James Tarkowski for the last minute instead.claretdom wrote:Apparently he has agreed a 5 minute interview but doesn't expect to feature much at the start and is hopeful of coming on in the last minute.

Patrick was about to have a fortified whine to the manager but lost his bottle and was passed to the left.

Re: Patrick Bamford on talks port in next hour.
The fool, Middlesborough isn't even on the coast. He should know that, he's been there before.
Re: Patrick Bamford on talks port in next hour.
You're right, there is a port right next to the ground. You see, Bamford is the perfect man to talk ports, never doubted it for a minute.TomBenderson wrote:It has got a port though, Teesport can be no more than 2 or 3 miles outside the town centre.

Is Boro`s raison d'etre just to keep signing players......any player will do, money no object....just sign players and if you run out of players just sign some people!

Loan system is "wrong" because loanees are not picked... perhaps there was a reason why he wasn't played by SD and others
Be interesting to see how Kawanka brings him on !

I like Danny Murphy, think he's great, but he's just said that this move will suit him because "Burnley play a lot of long balls"*

I'm happy people think we just lump it... The more people don't understand our way of playing the better.
I listened to PB and nothing he said made me wish we had treated him differently.
Will be interesting to see what happens now... He thinks he'll possibly be back at Chelsea...
