Sad news all round, for anyone who loses their life.
Is there a safety issue here? Is it all majorly dodgy?
And yes, I know that 1000+ people have already died in similar circumstances in Qatar. It's sad when anyone dies.

I can only hope his nationality highlights the issue and Qatar is held accountable to pay decent compensation to the families of the victims on equal footing, regardless of nationality

I'm not batting off the other people who have lost their lives in this time, I'm just merely trying to refrain this from becoming a "but look at all those other people who have died" contest between posters.
It's all equally and terribly sad.

You're all assuming that he's fallen from a height or some other H+S failure. Maybe he just had a heart attack because he smokes 40 a day?

The health and safety over there is horrendous isn't it?
Plus they work people really hard I've read somewhere.

Nothing dodgy about the 2022 World Cup. Nothing at all.
