I don't think we desperately need anybody right now to avoid relegation. We'd be a better side with Brady/Snodgrass though.

In an ideal world we'd get Brady, a central midfielder (assuming Marney injured and Barton to receive a ban) and maybe a striker if I'm being greedy.

Plenty on here earlier in the month that seemed quite content with Barton and Barton alone.
Aside from the need to improve out wide, in addition to the possible injury to Marney and a possible ban for Barton, I don't see much on the bench to change a game in terms of an attacking sense.
I'd agree with three - hopefully the net has been cast a little wider that Brady and Stephens, can see Norwich and BHA playing us to be honest, neither have a desperate need to sell it would appear.

Marney's potential injury must surely be lightning a fire under the Board and Management's arses, that's for sure. If he's out and Barton does receive a ban, then we really need numbers in the middle.

We're not out of the mire but any stretch - we've done fantastically we'll to get the number of points we have so far but we all know it's an unforgiving league. Don't see us signing a striker. Substitutions are only ever like for like, no room for anything different (cf Bamford). So Gray and one of Barnes or Vokes (generally).

Wouldn't have thought so. They've known about Barton's situation since before he signed and Marney hasn't been fully fit since before Xmas (and always at risk of making it worse). They'll be fully aware that the centre of midfield is an area of risk.
