Burnley ranked in all-time Champions League listing

Post by Man of Kent » Wed Jan 25, 2017 7:57 pm

Apologies if this has already been posted but I've noticed that Burnley has been listed in the UEFA Champions League all-time record statistics.

We're ranked behind Dinamo Tirana of Albania but at least we're ahead of a team I've heard of - FC Torino of Italy.

You can see our listing here: http://www.uefa.com/MultimediaFiles/Dow ... WNLOAD.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Come on, you need to go through the list yourself from the start to experience the full pain of seeing which nonentity teams are above us!

Oh alright then, we're 299th.

We've never played in the Champions League

Or are the recognising that football existed pre 1992 and including the European Cup?

That would appear to be the case. The records start in 1955.

Chris Sutton - 12 goals. That can't be right can it? :o

Edit: I forgot he'd played for Celtic. Easily done, I guess.

Surely we'd be above them in Fairs Cup/EUFA Cup/Europa League as well.
Our quarter final and their defeat to Trelleborg.
