Re: Team News
That looks good enough to do the job in hand.
Real trial for Tarks, shielding the back four. Come on lad make the position yours.

Re: Team News
I'm interested to see how Defour does against Championship opposition with almost a free role.

Re: Team News
That says to me one thing: Dyche has been on the phone to ablueclaret.
In all seriousness though it definitely suggests that he's thinking of the Barton ban and is trying Tarks in midfield as a replacement.

Re: Team News
Decent looking team that.
The moaners will arrive soon complaining Tarks is in the middle and we've given up signing anybody.

Re: Team News
Gudmundsson back is good news.

Re: Team News
Dyched, I don't think we'll sign anybody, but with Hendrick on the bench, assuming we have no more injuries this season, that midfield may be enough. We'd need to be lucky though and have no more players out at all.
Re: Team News
Certainly a trial formation/personel.
Don't know whether to be concerned or relieved..

Re: Team News
To be honest that looks a very good side and should have too much for City

Re: Team News
Ignoring the question of who would be the one up front using this formation in the premier league, Barton back in front of the back line, Hendrick taking the place vacated by Barton, and that's worth seeing and what many have been shouting for.
It's an argument between a Vokes/Barnes and Gray. It SHOULD mean we play further up the pitch so contribution/arriving on the ball from midfield far more prevalent which suggests popping balls through channels for Gray rattan than a punt up for nods back to start the second phase
Wish this game was being broadcast

Re: Team News
Interesting point about Defour, pretty much in a free role behind Vokes. Possibly too forward?

Re: Team News
Dont let CT see you suggesting Barton plays the holding role in front of the back 4. He pretty much entirely blamed Bartons poor performances for Rangers on Warburtons bad management for playing him in that role.NRC wrote:Ignoring the question of who would be the one up front using this formation in the premier league, Barton back in front of the back line, Hendrick taking the place vacated by Barton, and that's worth seeing and what many have been shouting for.
