They are very good side, must be great to follow. Just the type of team I could be proud of and get behind. The away form is a total mystery to me though. They sort that and it'll be beyond their wildest dreams.

Delighted for you too Rejected. Although I thought BBC Radio 5 Live were a bit unfair saying, at the final whistle, "And Sunderland have done it. They've held on for a 0-0 draw!" I'm sure it was better than that.

SD doesn't set-up the side to play away, once he does and he certainly can now, things should improve, we have to get more possession away from home it's as simple as that.

Never doubted it. We just have the belief and ability to grind out results at home.

Away it hasn't seemed to work this season or in any of the 3 Prem campaigns but I think we're getting better. Some of the away games coming up look less daunting and we're in good form.

trying hard not to think about that yet - though hope the board have a succession plan in place - he will get a few offers this summer

Reckon he'll stay a few years yet, as long as the board continue to back him reasonably.

Well into the applications now. Aston Villa is my favourite so far.

well after today we have spent over £45 m in last 2 years (all our history before that was £54m) - so you have to say they are giving him the funds he is generating - he knows it and is grateful and think he sees more opportunity for growth. He will also be aware of how:
this board give him time to grow himself as well as the team
what happened to other managers (e.g. Curbishley) who performed similar miracles and then bombed elsewhere
