I heard 2-3 weeks, but these hamstring injuries could take anywhere from 2 weeks to 3 months these days

Dyche said it wasn't a bad one but would be more than two weeks

That's probably the target game. Even as a sub would be a big plus.

Think he's due to be fit just before the Chinese transfer window closes on 28th February.

Could do with him back for the weekend, what with suspensions and illegibility.

Would be crazy IMO to risk playing him in the Cup this weekend as we have enough players to put out a mixture of first teamers and squad players to enable us to beat Lincoln.

We have 15 outfield players 3 goalies 3 injured 1 suspended and 1 cup tied. So I'd expect at least 2 kids on the bench and a very strong eleven playing.

Defour is one of our key players . We hope that he recovers at his earliest best .

Without any 'insider' knowledge at all I believe I can safely say that the chance of Defour playing on Saturday is 0%.

Dependent on what happens with Joey I don't see Defour getting much game time if I'm honest. Dunno what it is, we all know he's a really good player, but something doesn't seem to fit

He's definitely our most talented midfielder, but Dyche doesn't rate him in a 4 man midfield which makes me think we won't see much more of him. Sadly.

15 plus 2 keepers means 1 kid doesn't it in the 18. Likely Tom missing from the 3 keepers and then the rest as per the 17 available plus one other unless Sean leaves more of the first team squad out.

He's injured. Of course we will see more of him. It's about having options. More drama queenery.

We won't see him anymore as he is definitely going to China in January cos his mate plays out there ;)

When fit he's started, sometimes he's been plonked on the bench in certain away fixtures as he's maybe been seen as a bit of a luxury by Dyche.

Defours Burnley career has been a bit stop/start but I think Dyche rates him highly or he wouldn't have pursued and signed him.

Even if he was recovered I wouldn't have expected him to play against Lincoln. I think we would have given him the extra week whatever.
