Conte on sky sports

Post by CrispyClaret » Sun Feb 12, 2017 3:52 pm

Yet another manager bleating about the long ball, 2nd ball and not knowing how to play against it. FFS they must scout out our games and plan for them, bad losers/drawers

Another manager who can't understand why little old Burnley don't know their place and just let them win.

When Pedro scored - it was their last chance on target.

Just deflecting attention away from his players. All managers do it with our own gaffer being a master and judging by the response on here it looks to be working

Why do you care if people say we long ball? That's what we do. We have the most long balls in the Prem.

Today we had the most big balls in the PL. All men to their core.

If we had the most number of long balls and no results I wouldn't be too impressed but we have 30 points and have just drawn with the best team in the league, so honestly he can say what he likes as it works for us.

He said "Burnley are very strong at home and we couldn't cope with their long balls and (winning) the second balls."

He's being critical of his own players.

Why do people get so overly defensive about the words "long ball". It bemuses me.

Really strong team
Really tough place
Not easy to play in Burnley
Really good free kick
They are a strong team
Burnley tried to disrupt our football and tried long balls and second balls to create chances

All taken from the interview I just heard. Never once a negative slant on our tactics. He spoke exclusively of how we made ourselves hard to beat and how strong a team we are.

He was disappointed they didn't win.
That's ok. He's paid to manage Chelski.
He's just joined a lengthening line of opposing managers leaving the Turf without the 3pts they wanted.
Suits me.

Disappointed he didn't get 3 points yes - but not with his team or with us - just found us hard to play against and admired our fortitude - believe he recognises that we make the most of our limitations

Just seen his interview. Doesn't say much wrong really. We are a tough team at home and we do play a lot of long balls - no problem :)

Chelsea 10 points clear at the top. Clarets 10 points clear of the bottom.
Both managers and fan's happy.

Dillusion- a word that does not exist.
D'illusion- French for illusion, as in Backward Rovers are a reasonable football team.
Delusion- a belief that is held despite evidence to the contrary. i.e Liverpool will win the title.

Hope that helps Saxo.

Have to laugh at these foreigners. They just echo one another. I think if we had £90 mullion of talent on the bench and much more on the pitch we might play slightly different Its like the Euro. They cant accept that its screwed. Just full of empty excuses

Saxo, why do you spend all your spare time on the forum of a rival club? Are you so obsessed with the Premier League? A place you will never return to, so jog on you muppet, and take your "dilly" with you, and shove it where you probably love it. Right up where the sun don't shine. GET OFF OUR FORUM!! Or does nobody bother going on yours anymore, now that you're Championship relegation candidates?
