Weather was 12th man

Post by ebby » Sun Feb 12, 2017 4:35 pm

Poor old southerners, having to come up north and play in the Cold and Sleet. Great to see Scotty Armfield strip down to bare chest as opposed to all the southern fairies with their Duvet Jacket, face masks and heated blankets. Get back across the channel you pussies!

13th man. The fans were the 12th again. In fact 14th. Turf moor was the 13th man again.

Vegas, you may have watched the game at the Belligio, but from where I was watching it (Perth Aus) it looked bloody cold - hence the reason neither of us live close by the Turf any more and I am sure its the same from the pansies who have traveled up on their charted jet etc from the Kings Road.....

Well I don't like to big myself up, or anything, but I did put my Burnley wooly hat on, even though my central heating was giving it absolute beans.

Think we showed today that we are no longer gate crashing the Premier party. We can match the best team in the country without requiring fingernails.

On the telly, Arfield was sat in a light tracksuit top with his bib on. Then they had some dreadlocks homeboys from Chelsea wearing big puffer jackets, hats, gloves and snoods...

Right bunch of puffs!

When did your lot last beat them, never mind play them (and I'm not talking about Liverpool)?

'But can they do it on a cold rainy night in Stoke' should be replaced with 'a snowy Sunday in Burnley'.
