Scottish Coaches

Post by evensteadiereddie » Sun Feb 12, 2017 11:25 pm

As in buses at the Turf from Scotland. I've noticed the last few games that quite a few coaches from Hamilton and Glasgow have been parked up near the cricket club before and after games.
Have we branches up there ? Is this a new(ish) thing ? Seems a hell of a long way to come for neutral PL tourists - if that's what they are...

Ferguson was great but Moyes and Coyle are both dreadful. I don't think we should generalise.

I think all of those coaches on Belvedere Road were for 'Burnley' fans, not what we usually see.

I remember last season one from Germany and most of the travellers were decked out in Claret and Blue.

It can only benefit the club long term.

There is a Facebook page up here that is advertising coach trips to our bigger games and tickets in the home end. Just offering people the chance to see the premier league

I sit in the JMU and had three Chelsea supporting (I guess Conte supporting really) Italians sat behind us yesterday. Jabbering away in Italian with the odd Dyche and Robbie Brady thrown in. The Scottish lot were in the Park View before the game. Seems it was the new owners busiest days.

Noticed there was a photo on the LET site of a group of lads from Cambusland, which is on the outskirts of Glasgow and where Accy Clarets were drinking before our 2 friendlies with Rangers.

There were about 25 Scottish lads ( Glasgow-ish accent) in the 110 Club before the Chelsea match..I couldn't understand what they were saying, but they were having a party.
